Encouraging foot and bike traffic in the River District is an important consideration for Waterhouse Row. A pedestrian-friendly gate, featuring an iconic wave that pays tribute to the nearby Whitewater Park, will be installed on the east side of the development -- keeping cars out and walkers and bikers in. The electronic gate, designed by Garden City's own Foster Weld, will be accessible to fire and emergency personnel only.
